All new member orientations are full for the 2021/22 membership year. We are now only accepting applications for the 2021/22 membership year (July 2021 - June 2022). Use the July, August, September dues calculation schedule to calculate your dues amount.

MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS/PROCEDURE:

  1. Complete application and supplemental questionnaire and send to noted address (PO Box on application) with payment of all dues, fees, and assessments.
  2. Your application will be reviewed.
  3. Applicants are subject to criminal record check.
  4. You must be a member of the NRA or pay the NRA assessment.
  5. You must be a US citizen.
  6. Approved senior member and family associate member applicants must attend a new member orientation prior to using the facilities. Regular associate and junior members are encouraged to attend the orientation. Due to COVID only the senior member and family associate member may attend new member orientations.
  7. Upon receipt of application and full payment the club will notify approved applicants via email or phone of date and time of their new member orientation. Orientations last 4 hours and include time to take your picture for your photo ID membership card.
  8. Club handbook, bylaws, and membership cards will be provided at the new member orientation.

JOIN DATE: Your official join date will be the date you completed a new member orientation. If a new member fails to attend their scheduled orientation you would not be eligible for a refund of any portion of paid dues. Failure to attend your scheduled orientation will result in delayed access to the club pending completion of a new member orientation.

New Member Orientation Dates
Due to COVID class size restrictions we are doing more than one orientation a month. New applicants will be assigned to the next available orientation on first come, first served based on the date we get your application and payment. Only those required to attend a new member orientation will be able to attend at this time. Questions can be sent to info@douglasridge.org.

NRA MEMBERSHIP REQUIRED: All members of DRRC are required to be a member of the NRA. To verify NRA membership, include original or copy of the label from your NRA magazine or a copy of your NRA membership card. If not currently an NRA member the NRA assessment fee will be used by DRRC to acquire an NRA membership on your behalf.

Membership Card: Each member with an access card (Senior and Family Associate) is required to have a photo ID membership card. Regular associate and junior members will be provided and non photo membership card. Regular associate members may have a photo ID membership card upon their request. Junior members will not be given a photo ID membership card.

MEMBERSHIP YEAR: Our membership year is from July 1st - June 30th. All new member applications are prorated so all annual membership renewals occur at the same time.

MEMBERSHIP RENEWAL BILLING CYCLE: Regardless of when you join all member renewal statements are mailed in early May. Membership renewals payments are due by June 30th and are considered late if not paid by the July membership meeting (first Thursday in July). Dues received after the July membership are subject to a $10.00 late fee.

WORK HOURS: All senior members are expected to put in at least 8 hours a year of volunteer service to the club. There are many easy ways to do this including, maintenance days, helping at Hunters Sight-In, volunteering to help at various matches, etc. A $150.00 work hour fee will be assessed if verifiable work hours are not recorded by a predetermined date for the previous year. Assessment begins with first renewal cycle after joining the club in July-April.

FAMILY MEMBERSHIP: Includes senior member ($150.00), associate member (spouse) ($75.00 + $5.00 access card deposit), minor junior members (no cost). Provides gate access card for associate. Associate must attend new member orientation. All other fees and assessments apply.

REGULAR ASSOCIATE/JUNIORS: Regular associate (spouse) and junior members may only use the club while accompanied by a Senior Member, except as noted at events otherwise open to the public. Must be under 18 years to qualify as a junior.

Work Hour Assessment $150.00 Begins with first year of renewal for those who Join in July - April. Waived if member has contributed at least 8 hours of verified volunteer work for DRRC.
Associate Member Annual Dues $10.00/$75.00 Regular spouse associate ($10) must be with senior member when at range, family associate (spouse) ($75 + $5 for HID) gets access card and may come to range on their own.
Junior Member Annual Dues $5.00 Per junior member unless part of family membership then no cost.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Make sure you have the most current version of our application. Using an older version will result in delaying your membership application. The most current version will always be the one available on this website.

PAYMENT METHOD - Acceptable payment methods are cash, check, money order, or cashier's check. We are sorry but we cannot accept credit or debit cards or online payments at this time. Do not send cash by mail. It is preferred that you send your application and payment by mail.
